I felt the poses for the characters were a bit stale, but considering you had such a short time to work on it, this was very well done.

I am still getting the hang of puppet animation, with each time i do it i add more to the puppets so hopefully the next one i do will be better then the last.

[New City]

"New City" from Mujtahid showed me something I have never seen before. It reminded me of what movies can do, of what they’re capable of, of what the experience of sitting down for three hours in a dark room can really mean. I’ll never forget the first time I saw it. Time will never change that. I might look back at New City in 20 years and, as the technology evolves, see through a lot of its tricks. That doesn’t mean, however, that I won’t always remember what it meant to see it for the first time, to see what the future might hold, to feel like, no matter how many movies you see, you can always be amazed, you can always go back to that first experience, again, and ever. My jaw is still on the floor from this wonderful film.

[Iski Miski!!! (Bangali Cartoon)]

Iski Miski!!! (Bangali Cartoon) is a wonderful film that was catipulted into becoming a great, best picture winning film. The film which cost 200+ million dollars came along and blinded critics and audiences alike into being overcome with gitty delight that a smart action film can be made. It was great, Iski Miski T-Shirts, posters, soundtracks, calenders, documentaries, truth-telling interviews became the rage. Divorce yourself from that as you watch the movie and you may feel the uneven film that you have on your hands.
